Catherine and Hugo decided to tie the knot in Hugo's home country. They held an intimate soirée in the heart of the Franschhoek valley in December over a sweet ceremony led by one of their best friends, stretched-out canapes so they can really spend the best time of the day with their closest people, an endless-course meal paired perfectly with their favourite wines (a bride along with an entire guest list filled with sommeliers is always a fantastic idea) and a pumping dance floor.
Everything was focused on the people - their people, allowing them to fully experience one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa. I believe that this is how it should be - a wedding shouldn't revolve around the photos (rich coming from me) but around the dream the couple has for their wedding, which, in my opinion, is to be enfolded by their loved ones and to celebrate the start of their marriage.
This day was all that and so much more.
